Sponsorship

The RAPUNZEL One World Organic Foundation is active in both a promotional and operational capacity. It is possible to apply for funding; you can download the relevant documents below.

At the same time, the Foundation reserves the right to proactively select its funding partners in accordance with the Foundation’s objectives. We therefore ask for your understanding that we do not justify the rejection of applications.

In order to fulfil its statutory charitable purposes, the foundation supports tax-privileged, charitable corporations in Germany, such as registered associations recognised as charitable (e.V.), foundations recognised as charitable or charitable limited liability companies (gGmbH). The non-profit status must be proven by a notice of exemption from the tax office.

Outside Germany, the foundation supports project sponsors that are comparable to a German non-profit organisation. Corresponding NGOs, small farmers’ cooperatives and other organisations must prove their non-profit status with the appropriate documents.

We do not support projects by individuals or commercial enterprises.

For the purpose of charity, the foundation also enables employees of Rapunzel and affiliates to apply for emergency aid in case of a physical, mental or emotional need for help that is not their own fault. If this is the case, please contact us directly.

Even when they are not rooted directly in organic agriculture, the measures we support should, as far as possible, still maintain a point of reference to organic agriculture, or at least be based on the spirit of organic cultivation (for example the preservation of biodiversity, forest protection or climate-friendly education).

This can be expressed, for example, as an individual aspect of the planned project implementation, as a conceptualised medium-term perspective of the project or project environment or also in relation to the target group of the measures.

Organic certification is not a prerequisite. Nevertheless, no measure may contradict the principles of organic farming.

In addition, we require a current certificate of non-profit status from the funding organisation (notice of exemption from the tax office) or, in the case of foreign project sponsors, comparable documents. The organisation’s current articles of association, financial report or annual financial statements can also be submitted.

A personal contribution is obligatory. We have not set a minimum share or funding quotas.

The foundation’s bodies usually decide on the award twice a year (spring and autumn). Please contact us for our deadlines and the current submission deadlines.
